Grant Manier

"Today's world is turning into an Eco-Friendly environment and Eco-Art

is playing a fundamental role in the way people are recycling."   Grant Maniér

Grant Maniér (maun-yay), a young talented Eco-Artist, living with autism, has incorporated conservationism into his work.  Reduce, reuse, and recycle is the foundation for Grant's art.  Grant creates stunning art collages using thousands of pieces of torn/cut shaped and textured paper from recycled calendars, magazines, posters, puzzles and more. From an owl made from movie posters to dolphins crafted with applesauce lids.  Maniér is breaking the mold and changing perceptions of how to recycle and reuse. Whether an admirer or owner of an Eco-original or print, people love his art, his story, and what he stands for “HOPE”.

Grant is emerging as one of the most notable young artists. His Eco-friendly artwork is capturing the attention of national media and he has been honored with awards multiple times for his Eco-impressionism as well as his outstanding contribution to the special needs community.  He is leading the way for Eco-art awareness by bringing his visual art exhibit and demonstration into schools and organizations, receiving awards and recognition for his outstanding educational outreach program to children and adults. His art has raised thousands of dollars supporting many great causes (therapy, camps, social groups, and more).

His artwork will be featured on an upcoming edition of Arts InSight, this Friday, Feb. 24, 2017 at 8:30 p.m. on Houston Public Media TV 8.

Grant gives us a firsthand account of how he creates his pieces and the benefits his art has on both himself and others.
